Interreg programme is a programme of cross-border cooperation of the European countries. It is one of the European territorial cooperation programmes which are supporting the European cohesion policy by contributing to the harmonious development of the European Union through the empowerment of the economic, social and territorial cohesion. The main objective of the Interreg programme alongside with the overall empowerment of the cross-border and intra-regional cooperation is their economic growth. Interreg programme is stressing the importance of the knowledge and good practices transfer, and the development of new and sustainable cross-border structures.
On the level of the European Union, there are a lot of Interreg programmes which can be mutually differentiated by the amount of countries they encompass, available resources, priority axis and regions of member states they encompass.
As the newest member of the European Union, Croatia has a possibility of participating in the following Interreg programmes:

In cooperation with partners from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Italy, Correlia advisory experts have applied three Interreg projects. We are currently developing project ideas witth experts from Italy and Austria. Successful collaboration with project partners coming from different European countries and diverse institutions and organizations has resulted with the partnership network, a platform for exchange of knowledge and project ideas, with an aim to open possibilities for collaboration in future projects.
