You probably have heard many times for terms Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy sources. When traveling alongside Adriatic coast, you may have noticed wind farm “Vrataruša” on Velebit near Senj or wind farm “Crno brdo” near Šibenik. During your trip, for sure you have seen solar panels on the roofs of some buildings. Knowing that Croatia receives a large part of its electricity from hydro power plants, you may have thought that we did a lot considering usage of renewable energy sources.
Yet, Corellia advisory as a member of Intelligent Energy cluster, strongly believes that this is far from enough and that we still need to meet ambitious goals set by the European Union regarding usage of renewable sources of energy.
Certainly, the greatest improvement is needed in the area of energy efficiency and energy renovation of buildings, especially in the public sector. Therefore, local self-government units and public institutions in Croatia, can finance part of the costs of energy renovation of buildings and use of renewable sources of energy from non-refundable EU funds. Considering that this area requires interdisciplinary knowledge in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and finance, we believe that Corellia advisory and Intelligent Energy cluster can be a right partner in such projects.
